Mae Moh Mine Overburden Excavation Project Contract 9: Removal and Coal Extraction

Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITD) is pleased to provide the latest update on the Mae Moh Mine Overburden Excavation Project Contract 9: Removal and Coal Extraction (J.2411).
The works of the open-pit lignite mining project include:
1. Overburden excavation and relocation – approximately 467,000,000 m³;
2. Lignite mining and relocation – approximately 35,000,000 t; and
3. Overburden relocation from the mining pit (undertaken by Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, EGAT) – approximately 35,000,000 m³.
