Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited (ITD), responsible for the High-Speed Railway Development for Regional Connectivity (Section 1: Bangkok - Nakhon Ratchasima) Contract 3-4: Civil Works for Lam Takhong – Si Khiu and Kut Chik - Khok Kruat Section (J.2496), recently welcomed visitors from the Rail Technology Research and Development Agency (Public Organization) or RTRDA.
Mr. Wichien Roongrujirat, Senior Vice President of the Roads & Bridges 2 Business Unit, along with other executives, greeted the visitors and provided an overview of the project. Topics discussed included survey work, geotechnical drilling, foundation and column construction, segmental box-girder construction, and launching gantry inspection.
Afterwards, the RTRDA officers traveled to several of the Project's work sites, including the At-Grade Works & Bridge Deck in Nong Nam Khun, the Balanced Cantilever in Lat Bua Khao, the installation of Precast Segmental Box-Girder LG#1 at Khlong Phai Bridge, and the Hard Rock and Slope Protection DK.191 to complete their site visit.
